Actually nothing. It was delivered to me in person.
I am participating in a bookevent where Michael has sent out a copy of Around the World in 80 days to link all bloggers and which would get back to him at the end of 80 days.I think its a unique concept and would make a wonderful keepsake for his son :) It first went to Peter in Philippines, then to Sharon in Australia who passed it to me.I have never had anything delivered to me in my entire life.Nobody wrote me letters.I'm a '90s child. And this time I got a BOOK and a lovely postcard and two cool bookmarks from Sharon.Thats neat for your first mail,eh?
This is so cool I'm orgasmic!Actually no.But I'm really happy,REALLY.Thank you for choosing me Sharon and thank you for the post card and the bookmarks!!

Here are some pictures I took of the book, the postcard from Sharon and me with the book. They aren't the best you have seen-I could really use some tutorials on taking pictures.Sigh.

Couldnt wait to change out of my pajamas to take the pic

The book and the bookmarks

The Postcard and the bookmarks.

Have a great weekend, and those of you who celebrate Halloween-start a brush-a-thon,you'll need it after all the candy!

Around the world in 80 days

You know back in the days when people used to write on scraps of paper, roll them up,put them in a bottle and listen for the plink as it hit the ocean surface? What were they thinking? Was that the beginning of blogging? To get your ideas across from coast to coast, albeit time consuming, but someday some stranger might come across your thoughts and know that you were ecstatic one summer afternoon. Today we have it easier-one click and your thoughts are up there to be read and, commented, criticised and agreed with.Cool?Oh,yes.

I’m taking part in Michael’s book event in which he has sent out a copy of Around the world in 80 days, which is traveling from blogger to blogger to return to him at the end of 80 days.Unique isn’t it?Click here to read his post on it.

It started off with Peter in Phillippines who passed it on to Bookpusher(Sharon),my wonderful bloggy friend and patient reader who has an awesome book blog, in Australia and now she is passing it on to me.Thank you for choosing me Sharon, this is indeed exciting! And the best thing about you?You never forget to put a word or many about me and my and posts when you mention me,which means A LOT .I’m glad you enjoy my blog will try harder to keep you entertained.*HUGS*.Click here to read her post and see the wonderful pictures she put up of herself with her daughter and their dog Lily near a sign with distances to all the famous cities in the world.
This is something I wish to pass on to Sharon-the blog buddies award given to me by Avada Kedavra.( or the amazing Ashwini). You two have a lot more coming :)So do many of my other bloggy friends.I'm hosting an award ceremony soon, stay tuned, for the mo' I have these for you.
To get back to what I was saying, this is the first time I’m taking part in anything of this sort, and I’m actually thrilled. The heights which science and technology can reach! The world is becoming just one big neighbourhood. Its amazing!
What do you think about this book event?Shouldn’t there be more of these going on?I thinks its absolutely awesome!
Oh and I need to pass this book on to another blogger,if you are interested please email me at mizznobody@gmail.com .

Have a great weekend!

Thoughtless Thursday

Nothing blogworthy happened today.Well I'd be lying if I said that. The truth is,I'm just to lazy to write about it.LOL.A quick recap.

  • I made a headway with time and work problems.(argh maths!)

  • Gypsy(my dog) didn't chew any major miss-worthy thing today.

  • My friends said I look good in my new glasses. And they also said that my face looks more math worthy with the glasses(NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!)

Pish. And ofcourse,a blog makeover again.Summer.Thats my excuse for the light coloured template.heh!I don't know whats wrong with the three column templates I dig so much...they don't have unlimited flexibility to be customised,as blogger says, but then they aren't by blogger anyway.

Its almost 11 pm at my part of the world and my brain feels like a wrung sponge.Though I'd like to fall back into my bed and drift off to lala-land,I'm not ready to end the day yet.Geez, how wierd did that sound lol.Did you know that we spend almost 1/3 of our life sleeping?

I guess I would just get back to my book.

Yup,this would be sufficient to give me an adrenalin rush :)

So,what are you reading right now?
